In my field of study, data is important so protecting it is crucial. I needed a program that could help me recover sentimentally important pictures from an old hard drive that had been corrupted. I have tried many recovery tools but they were either inadequate or very expensive. During a class discussion, I was introduced to Disk Drill by CleverFiles and I decided to give it a try. Not only have I been able to recover most of my lost files, but also clean up my current hard drive. Disk Drill goes beyond just helping you recover files you can also establish a form of backup, clean up your drives by looking for and removing duplicates. I love how intuitive the program is as well as very user-friendly. I am still a novice when it comes to Disk Drill, but that is okay since if you do get stuck they came prepared and have help links just about every where. I look forward to recovering files from other devices such as old Android phones and iPhones. I love that the program can be used across the board with most of your devices. Disk Drill turned out to be more than what I had expected and I look forward to seeing what other things I can do with Disk Drill.
I love the program. I have been having a lot of fun with it and surprisingly recover files from a lot of different things that I thought I had lost forever.
Disk Drill Data Recovery Review
This software is simply amazing.
I needed to recover some lost photos from an old MacBook Pro hard drive. I had searched around the web for a solution but did not feel confident in the products I came across. A Professor of mine suggested that I use Disk Drill to recover this data, with ease I had my lost data quickly and easily secured.
One great feature was the ability to immediately start searching through the recovered files during a quick or deep scan. The files I longed for were populated almost immediately, and could be opened even before the scan was completed. Sorting by name, kind, size, and modification date allowed for easy scrubbing of the large amounts of data. Some important data I did not originally seek was also recovered which was the “cherry on top” of my experience, I never thought that I would see this data again.
I cannot wait to share the benefits of this software with my friends and family — truly magic and highly recommended!
Disk Drill is a perfect safeguard for those who choose to keep their personal files local. Also can be an awesome addition to iCloud users who are frequently traveling. I personally used it on an older MacBook Pro to recover files I have not had access to for almost half a decade. These files I thought lost forever were able to be salvaged thanks to Disk Drill. This is a perfect tool for those who would like to save money and recover files themselves without the hassle of dropping personal devices at Greek Squad.
The ability to find duplicate files is extremely handy. The recovery also proved very reliable as I accidentally wiped my hard drive and the program was able to recover almost all of my files.
Very efficient at data recovery and with an additional set of Mac utility tools to die for, Disk Drill 3 comes highly recommended.
