New in Disk Drill: Deep Scan improvements & Mac OS 10.7

We’ve just updated Disk Drill. By popular demand we added a number of new file formats to the list of supported ones by Deep Scan in Disk Drill 1.3.

The new release includes the following improvements:

•  new  Final Cut Pro files (.FCP), .MPG, Raw Video Image Files (.R3D), ICS, EMLX, ISO were added to the list of known signatures of Deep Scan
•  new  better bad blocks detection, plus editable list of detected bad blocks, so you can omit them while scanning
•  improved  compatibility of Disk Drill with Mac OS 10.7 (Lion)
•  improved  Disk Drill now finds lost partitions with higher accuracy
•  improved  scanning results are now sorted correctly when new files are found
•  improved  skipping remaining files for recovery is more intuitive now
•  improved  UI localizations were improved and polished
•  improved  non-mountable disk images can now be attached by drag-n-drop on the Disk Drill’s icon
•  fixed  a tiny issue related to compatibility with Little Snitch
•  fixed  multiple selection of files for recovery in the list of found items was corrected
•  fixed  another portion of reported crashes
