Hi everyone! Disk Drill’s macOS edition has been updated to 3.8.965. It’s a free minor update for all 3.x users on our way towards the full-blown Disk Drill 4 upgrade slightly later this year. A list of most relevant changes in the latest release follows.

Improvements
- Improved Quick and Smart Scans on ExFAT partitions
- Data Protection Guaranteed Recovery no longer causes low disk space on system drives
- Improved UI translation
- Improved bootable drives created with Disk Drill now have more distinct icons
Fixes
- Fixed labeling of found files after scanning when Fuse framework is present in the system
- Fixed filters in scan results could be disabled when loading previously saved recovery sessions
- Fixed proper removal of protected data when uninstalling Disk Drill
- Fixed micro glitches with icons in some onboarding dialogs on macOS 10.15 (Catalina)
- Fixed random crashes on macOS X 10.10 (Yosemite)
- Fixed several minor crashes and exceptions
