Disk Drill 1.8.198

We are excited to bring a minor update to Disk Drill app today which makes some important improvements to Disk Drill’s overall usability and architecture.

In the newest release, labeled 1.8.198, we introduced the following changes:

•  new on 10.8  Disk Drill now integrates with OS X Mountain Lion Notification Center
•  speed issues  improved recovery speed by optimizing code to minimize process hangs
•  improved  detection of bad sectors
•  disk images  backup into DMG could fail or hang due to specific Safari extensions
•  fixed  recovery from Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex disks corrected
•  fixed  crash reports are now sent correctly if Disk Drill is installed on Mac OS X 10.8+
•  fixed  several minor exceptions
