If you see the file listed as a Numbers spreadsheet in scanning results, and even if its size matches the one you are looking for, there’s no guarantee the file will be recovered properly. Your only guarantee, as always, is the preview in Disk Drill.
However, if you recovered a corrupted Numbers file, there’s still a chance you can get inside of it and extract the data you were looking for.
Each file with the .numbers extension is basically an archive file containing all XML data, information, settings, graphs, functions and pictures for a spreadsheet document created in Numbers. Therefore, you can try to unpack them using Zip, 7-zip or any other tool capable of working with damaged archives. There’s still no guarantee, but it’s worth a try.
