Disk Drill 2.0.356

Yep, it’s the first update of version 2. Disk Drill 2.0.356 is here now! Here’s the list of improvements:

•  new  Deep Scan learns new file signatures – DS2 (Digital Speech Standard Pro), RAF (Fujifilm RAW image data), MDB (Microsoft Access Database), EFA (Encrypt 2005 E-mail File), TS (Video Transport Stream File)
•  new  Guaranteed Recovery can now protect custom user-selected folders (OS X 10.8+ only)
•  improved  file types sorting in Preferences (DIR, DXR, FCP, M4P)
• Rebuild algorithm improvements
•  improved  we added “Show in Finder” option to the right-click menu in scanning results (available for PRO users when scanning results are mounted as disk)
•  improved  better detection of PSD files with deep and quick scanning
•  improved  data protection speed
•  improved  Universal Recovery was improved on disks with unusual sector size (more than 512 bytes)
•  improved  deleted folders detection (less trash, more original folders)
•  fixed  unusually long Quick Scanning of some FAT partitions
•  fixed  some installation procedure developments
•  fixed  Secure Empty Trash reminder is back in the app
•  fixed  multiple consecutive mounting of scanning results is now more stable
• fixed a few crashes + localization improvements
